Sectors of "high opportunity"
The communal authorities actively analyze the local market in order to make it easier for investors to decide to locate their business in the Bobolice zone.
Bobolice investment zone is different from those operating "next door", among others, owing to the preferred type of activity. The potential of the commune is its forests and agriculture where we see the opportunity to develop the timber industry, renewable energy, food processing and machine industry, thus performing the assumptions of regional specialization.

Regional and intelligent specializations in Zachodniopomorskie Province
Surveys and studies covering the area of Zachodniopomorskie Province aimed at generic identification of areas of the economy where there may be regional specializations, provided the basis for developing an intelligent specialization within them. The research was based solely on the existing statistical data for the year 2010 –received from the Statistical Office in Szczecin and concerning: the number of registered enterprises, the number of new businesses, the number of employees and average monthly salary plus information received from the Tax Office in Szczecin on the number of taxpayers, net income net in all rates of taxation, revenues from exports (both inside and outside the EU), the acquisition of fixed assets and other acquisitions. In the process of identifying regional expertise a broad set of sectors of the PCA was used, so as to identify areas where there is potential for development of the region. In a further step i.e. the identification of intelligent specializations on the basis of, inter alia, the research into capacities of universities and R & D of the region, these sectors will be narrowed down to specific areas of specialization with the highest growth potential.
Five main areas have been identified concerning regional specialization, outstanding in the region:
· bio-economy (based on the natural resources of the region and its economic potential and scientific research)
· maritime activities and logistics (including marine technology, the industry, which is firmly rooted in the region, which must respond to the contemporary challenges)
· metal-machine industry (there is an increasing number of companies in this sector, the offer of industrial parks is increasing, an additional advantage is the valuable experience connected with shipbuilding industry)
· services of the future (a rapidly growing ICT, IT, KPO industry or creative industries)
· tourism and health (using natural resources and cultural heritage)
